Wow, that guy sounded like a total a$$!! You handled it really well. He will rue the day he messed with the Browncoats. I will, if you don't mind, copy that post and post it on Fireflyfans.net so that the word can be sure to get out. Let me know if it is ok. I live in the Bay Area so I am a far cry from Edmonton, but if the wind ever blows me in that direction, I will be sure to stay as far away from that place as possible. I need to get my hands on these comics. Will have to start searching around the bay for them. Anything Serenity MUST be bought :-)

I don't think they knew who he was. And by the time they did it was too late. There was a post on a LJ from another clerk stating that. A week or so later he did a 2nd post. Apologizing to the innoncent. Guess I could post it here as I'm a member of the Serenity board and Nathan and Joss post occasionally. Shouldn't matter who he was- everyone deserves to be treat with respect. And as a business person he should have remembered the customer came to him and been grateful for his business. You don't have to take advantage of people with inflated prices to succeed in business and I never heard of a business that succeeded that specialized in service with an attitude. |
