Glad you feel better! I'm sorry they've moved the date again, CCke. That does suck! Keep your "Firefly" dvds handy to help you make it thru!

Mailed someone from one of the cinema's here, to be sure it's gonna come out in Belgium. Otherwise, I'll be a might pissed and will book a few traintrips to London and Holland, lol. I must see the movie again on the big screen, lol. Other happy news, I went to a con today. (okay more like a merchandise-thing where some actors were) Bought an autograph of Corin Nemec and of Don S. Davis, and went on the pic with them : *SQUEEEEE* They were both really sweet, and really took their time to talk to the fans. Plus Corin Nemec is YUM He kept smiling at us, I liked that, lol

You're a Stargate fan too? Where have I been? All these wonderful sci-fi fans just chatting away with each other. I should have gotten on the internet sooner . . .

I'm not really a stargate fan. I do have watched occassionally, but a friend of mine is a huge fan, so now I'm borrowing the dvds from her to catch up with all of it (so I'm gonna be busy for a while ) Don't dislike Stargate, but like the X-files better (and of course, Firefly is on top of my squee-list) Besides... Don S Davis was Scully's dad *squee* He did write 'thanks for watching Stargate SG-1' on the glossy *giggle* And yes, the internet is THE meetingplace for geeks, besides conventions Rant away

Ha! I totally forgot that Don S. Davis was Scully's dad. *slaps self in forehead* My brain is mush from school. I started watching Stargate 'cause I was a huge MacGyver fan , but the x-files will always be a part of me. The character of Scully is what got me interested in Forensic Science. ;D

Shiny! I absolutely adore the last 2 seasons as well. Love the character of Reyes, she almost had me do my thesis on representations of devils in early christian art, lol

You have a good weekend too! Mine has to be an improvement over last night. My mom and step-dad came up this way to see his sister who lives outside a little town called Meadows of Dan; she actually lives way up a mountain that you have to go thru all these twisty mountain roads to get to. I met them at a local winery and we spent the day together and had dinner at my aunt's. Then it came time to leave; my aunt lead me out the to the "main road" by which I mean a road that wasn't just gravel and I went on my way and promptly got lost! I managed to find my way back to a little country store where we had had lunch and got directions that were so confusing it got me even more lost! I decided to call my aunt but my cell phone couldn't get a signal! I somehow found my way back to where the store was and noticed a motel and went in to ask directions there. Luckily, this woman gave me a very simple, straight-forward way to get back. Then I got back on the Blue Ridge Parkway and within 5 miles, the fog was so thick it looked like someone had dropped a white sheet in front of my car! So here I am, on the twisty mountain roads of the Parkway, pitch black outside, driving about 20mph thru fog so bad I can't see the markings on the road, with no way to call for help if something happened! I kept praying I wasn't going to go off the edge down the mountain or hit a deer or another car! I finally saw the sign for the turn-off to the town I had to go thru to get to the highway that got me back to Radford. I left my aunt's at 8:30pm and the trip should've taken a little over an hour; I got home at almost 11:30pm! But at least I got home in one piece!
