In the episode "Safe" towards the end when Mal is standing on the platform where the villiagers are about to burn River, he says something to Simon that I can't quite understand. I tried using the closed-captioning option on the dvd but it just says "unintelligiable". Simon's response is something like "Yes, I'm very proud." It's driving me crazy! Please help!

Ok, I tryed the closed captioning on my player and this is what it said that Mal says -
"Gotta say, doctor, this town's real and the folks are near miraculous"!!!
Not sure that actually makes any sense, but that what my closed captioning thinks it is.

I thought he said something like "I gotta say doc, your talent for antagonising folk is damn near miraculous!" I'll double check later.

Watched the airing on Sci-Fi last night and it sounds like they either cleaned up the audio and/or re-dubbed the line. The closed-captioning said "Got to say, doc, your talent for alienating folks is damn near miraculous" and Nathan's delivery of the line is much clearer than before. Guess I wasn't the only one who had a problem telling what he was saying!
