I recently purchased 2 "Firefly" buttons from Cafepress.com and I've been wearing them on my vest at work. I had one customer, a fellow Browncoat, ask me where I got them as well as inquiries from co-workers unfamiliar with the show as to what the heck they are. Of course, I eagerly--maybe a little too eagerly--tell them about the show and strongly encourage them--maybe a little too strongly--to watch the show on Sci-Fi on Friday nights. One of my co-workers noticed the buttons a few days ago and got so excited that when he asked if he could have one, I couldn't refuse and gave him my "Find a crew, find a job, keep flying" button. Anything for a fellow Browncoat! Yesterday, he told me another co-worker, also a fellow Browncoat, noticed the button and wanted to know where he got it because he wanted one too. Since I was planning on getting a new one to replace the one I'd given away, I ordered a couple of extras for my fellow "Firefly" fan co-workers. I got 2 with the "Serenity" movie logo, 2 with a picture of Serenity and "Firefly" written in Chinese under it, and a "I (heart) Mal" button for myself. It's great to finally find some local Browncoats to talk about the series with and maybe go see the BDM with next month!
