Just read over on the Browncoats site that the dvd for "Serenity" is scheduled for a US release date of December 20th! There was some debate as to whether this was rumor or fact, but one poster said they received the Universal distributors' catalog and 12/20 was the release date given, along with a pre-order date so it would seem that this is going to be the set date, with maybe a week or two difference. The extras listed include deleted scenes and out-takes--not sure about actors'/director's commentary. I hope this is indeed fact and not rumor because I'll be plenty mad if I've gotten my hopes up only to find out I'll have to wait another month or two for it to come out!
