So after watching, with much mirth, the Commentary! The Musical feature on Dr. Horrible, I couldn't shake Mr. Fillion's line about seven layer bean dip "of the gods".
So I do what any good, honest web junkie does. "Nathan Fillion Bean Dip Recipe" in Google. What do I find? An offer from the man himself to send an autographed picture as well as a recipe of said bean dip to anyone sending him a self addressed stamped envelope. Now with a man as complex as Nathan Fillion, it's difficult to tell when he is joking, being serious or just obfuscating for some other purpose. Most likely world domination, but I try not to jump to conclusions.
Now I am proud to say that me and my entire circle of friends discovered Firefly together a few years ago, in much the same way that an astronaut discovers those cosmic rays gave him super powers (there was a lot of exclaiming "AWESOME" for weeks afterwords). But we've drifted here and there and don't see as much of each other. So I thought what better way to bring the crew back than to gather them all up under a picture of the great Sou Xi Thief himself (autographed no less) and enjoy his snack of choice, a tasty low-fat bean dip.
Is it still possible? Can it be done? Or have too many haters given Nathan grief via SASE that he can no longer perform this generous service to Browncoats?
