the evil but handsom country boy who was actually a minion of hell.  it was strange for me seeing nathan in that kind of role. such an up beat person who seems so totally the opposite of caleb. Yet that didnt stop him playing the role perfectly.. Any thoughts? |

I got the 7th season of Buffy for christmas, and was incredibly surprised when nathan showed up and it was AWESOME!! I thought it was pretty cool how he took Buffy out of the fight with one hit on their first meeting. And, i agree he did a great job of playing an evil hell-minion after being Capt. Reynolds for so long. Just proves how awesome of an actor he is.

It was the first time that I ever saw Nathan, and I fell in love! What a brilliant yet creepy performance! totally eveil (holds little finger up to mouth in Dr Evil way)
I loved it! It was only when a friend mentioned that he had been in the Firefly thing, that I really got into him. And Firefly of course! I was a little late.
But yay for Joss! I'm so pleased! What if it hadn't been Nathan playing Caleb? I don't know if I would have gotten into Firefly! I wouldn't know all the lovely people off the boards! So...Caleb was very important to me!

One of the cable stations here runs Buffy in the afternoons so I decided to catch an episode today and, lo and behold, it was one with Caleb! FillionRules, I know you said not to skip the previous episodes but the temptation was too great--I had to watch it! I have to say, he scared me quite a bit but I'm very impressed with the performance and the show itself. Does anyone else think he'd make a great Norman Bates if a decent remake of "Psycho" came along?

Nathan needs to be the bad guy more... should i ever make it as a director thats the first thing i am going to do. cast nathan as the psychotic killer... he is just awsome.. Norman bates... i dont know, Anthony perkins is norman bates.. and as much as i love nathan and admire his talent i just dont think it would be right.. However... Psycho: the next generation would be totally kick ass  . Norman had a child in the 4th movie... im just sayin lol |

Caleb hit every single one of my "I hate this man" buttons. Then Mal hit every one of my "I adore this man" ones. Kind of astonishing that one actor could do that.
But, yeah - I like the idea of Nathan playing a real-world baddie. The only problem is that now, I'd probably adore said baddie too *g*.

I loved Caleb!!!! I'm so glad Nathan got to play the last big bad in the show, he was perfect in that role!
